Vasavisatramguesthouse is a budget pilgrim lodge in Srisailam town. We host families from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra who come for Jyotirlinga darshan, Abhishekam, Pathala Ganga snanam and weekend yatras.
The name “Satram” comes from the old South Indian tradition of choultries — rest houses built so that a devotee should not sleep on the street after a long journey to a holy kshetra. Our aim is the same: a clean room, fair rent, drinking water and respectful service.
Srisailam itself has a long history of community satrams. The wider Vasavi / Arya Vysya Anna Satram tradition in this kshetra dates back to the 1950s, when devotees organised annadanam even before proper roads reached the hill. That spirit of seva still defines how pilgrims expect to be treated here — with dharma, not with five-star pricing.
What “low price” means here
Srisailam hotel rates jump sharply on Maha Shivaratri, Karthika Mondays and long weekends. We keep a published low-price card for ordinary days and tell you clearly if a festival supplement applies. An AC twin from ₹799 and a deluxe AC double from ₹899 keeps the yatra affordable for families and senior citizens.
